Okay. I was going on a blind date.
Not that anyone but Kassie knew, so it didn't matter.
My hair was down instead of in its usual bun, and it was wavy because it had been in a braided bun all day. Although my dress was silver, my accessories and jewelry were still purple.
"Ready?" Kassie popped her head into the room. She was wearing green with pink jewelry. Her wave-filled brown hair was topped with a floral circlet.
We headed to the park by the beach. It was a beautiful evening. And waiting there were our dates.
I knew one of them.
Kassie had gotten Aspen and his friend to go on the blind date. And my date was Aspen.
I gulped and my heart fluttered.
"Nervous?" Kassie asked.
"No. I just wish I had brought my guitar."
